While new cars are built with the expectation they won’t have defects or need any repairs in their first years, very occasionally unforeseen issues do arise. That’s why every new Mazda comes with a warranty that offers coverage in the unlikely event a repair is needed during the first few years of ownership.
The Mazda Warranty for new Mazda cars sold and serviced here in the U.S. includes coverage on any unforeseen issues for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. The warranty includes a "Bumper-to-Bumper" Limited Warranty, Limited Powertrain Warranty, and 24/7 Roadside Assistance. The warranty excludes certain items, like normal wear and tear, normal maintenance, and adjustments.
The powertrain limited warranty covers powertrain components of new Mazda cars and trucks, in the event unforeseen issues arise with normal use and maintenance within the first 5 years or 60,000 miles.
In the event your new Mazda vehicle isn’t drivable due to a defective part during the coverage period, towing coverage will be provided for the vehicle to the nearest Mazda dealer. Likewise, if the vehicle is not drivable due to a powertrain failure, towing service will be covered during the Bumper-to-Bumper limited warranty coverage period.
GENUINE MAZDA PARTS WARRANTY
Genuine new or remanufactured Mazda parts (excluding the battery) and accessories purchased from or installed by a Mazda dealer are covered in the event of a defect for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first from the date the part was installed on the vehicle.
